All the services are present and correct, with a working bathroom and toilet and functioning kitchen, but all could do with replacing and redecorating to make yourselves more comfortable - everything works, but just looks a bit scruffy......

There is also a large store room in the attic and one in the basement which belong to the apartment, which bring up the area of the apartment to 60 m2.

The main attraction of this place is the situation next to the River Vit, a famous trout river, fed by the high Stara Planina Mountains and the views of the forested mountains beyond, yet the centre of Teteven is a 10 minute walk away, with shops even closer - very handy!

Teteven is popular with Bulgarian tourists, especially in the winter, when they come to see the beautiful snowy landscapes and breathe the air, reputed to be the cleanest in Bulgaria. This small town is well-developed and has numerous restaurants, cafés and bars and a great open air Saturday market for the delicious local fresh produce. Beyond Teteven the valley rises to high 2198m mountains and even more dramatic countryside to explore. The area around the town is also rich in Bulgaria`s history, with re-enactments of crucial moments in history every year, plus many ancient monasteries.

So, a great chance for a holiday home or year-round living without the responsibility of a garden to maintain, very few maintenance/security worries and still perfectly placed for a quiet comfortable life right in the middle of a wonderful, in-demand area.......
